Pastor Ron-Calvin Clark was born and raised in Jersey City, New Jersey, the third child of six children. He left home at age 15 to begin fulfilling his life that was predestined by the Lord. An emancipated minor, Pastor Clark was determined to make it on his own. Growing up in a home of ten including three other relatives with one parent, Pastor Clark overcame many obstacles in his youth, and homelessness. Pastor Clark began to work and make something better of himself.
Shortly after, the Lord had other plans for him, and Pastor Clark was informed of God’s salvation for him to be saved! Pastor Clark has been saved for 20 years and after the death of his mother in 1991, he responded to God’s call to preach the Gospel under the leadership of Rev. John H. McReynolds, senior pastor of Mt. Olive Baptist Church were he received his license and ordination. One of his primary goals in ministry is serving the community, youth & families. He has demonstrated, implemented and orchestrated his innovative approach to teaching in churches, schools, community centers and other sites across the world including the Bahamas, and London for over 13 years. He believes in addressing issues right were they are!
In the year of our Lord 1999 the Lord began to speak to the heart of Pastor Ron-Calvin Clark about birthing Anointed Gospel Christian Center Church www.AnointedGospelChurch.com (a non-denominational ministry). Through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, Pastor Clark was led to Bishop Walter Hawkins, Pastor of Love Center Ministries, Inc. www.lovecenter.org in Oakland, California. Currently he is in his 10th year serving as Pastor. Pastor Clark is one of the pastoral sons of the "Mother Church" as the New Jersey Church, and is one of the Love Fellowship Pastors which he has been apart of the Edwin Hawkins Music & Arts Seninar now known as the Love Fellowship Music & Arts Conference www.musicandartslovefellowshipconference.org under the leadership of two of Gospel Music's most legendary and beloved figures: Grammy Award Winners Bishop Walter & Edwin Hawkins for over 15 years. Pastor Clark has served Assistant Chapter Leader & Board Member of the New Jersey Chapter in Jersey City working in the Gospel Ministry of the Music and The Arts.
Under Pastor Clark leadership as a Pastor and Community leader he began the following activities: Free Teens Abstinence (HIV/AIDS & STD’s) Awareness Program, The King’s Table (Food Meal for the Hungry), Prayer & Bible Study, Community Outreach Ministry (Including Clothing for the Homeless and Street Evangelism), Christian Youth Fellowship, Tutoring & Afterschool Programs, Children’s Church, Anointed Overcomers (Recovery Ministry), Mentor & Big Brothers/Sisters Program, Helping Hands for Seniors. Rev. Clark has also broadcasted on W.W.R.L. 1600 AM Radio Station under “Youth For Christ Ministries” reaching out to young people dealing with every day life issues that young adults and teenagers face such as peer pressure, drugs, substances abuse, HIV/ AIDS, STDs, child molestation, teenage pregnancy, etc.
Pastor Clark has untirelessly labored in high management positions at: Hudson Community Enterprises (formerly The Occupational Center of Hudson County), Free Teens USA, Inc., Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hudson County, and the City of Jersey City Dept. of Community Development.
